Accommodation

We offer shared (double) rooms in the Bursa Jagiellońska, Bydgoska C/D, Nawojka, Piast and Żaczek dormitories.
Informarmation about dormitories:

The information below is dedicated to international students, who participate in the Erasmus+ programme.
During allocation of places we take into consideration criteria described below:
  • degree of disability – based on declaration and a document confirming the disability,
  • orphanage – based on declaration and a document confirming the orphanage,
  • distance from the university to the place of stay – declaration and a screenshot from Google Maps confirming the distance from the university (ul. Gołębia 24, 31-007 Kraków) to the place of stay,
  • financial situation – declaration and documents confirming the monthly income per family member (for the month preceding the date of application for a place in a dormitory),
IMPORTANT! Due to the limited number of places available we are unable to provide places for all international students who are beginning their studies.

  1. After finishing the formalities regarding beginning of your studies at the JU log in to your USOSweb account and go to Common section tab > Applications > Application for placement in dormitory in the academic year 2022/2023 (participants of the Erasmus+ programme) and fill-in the application.
  2. If you receive an information about allocation of a place, soon you receive an e-mail asking for the payment of the reservation fee.
  3. To receive a Housing Confirmation document to legalize your stay, send the confirmation of payment of the reservation fee to the address: erasmus@uj.edu.pl.
Reservation fee
To use the allocated place in a dormitory you must pay the reservation fee. This fee later covers the payment of the rent for October. Failure to pay the reservation fee results in losing the place in a dormitory, as it will be allocated to other student in need.

Housing confirmation
Usually, it is necessary to provide a proof accommodation to legalize your stay. It may be a tenancy agreement for an apartment/a room or Housing Confirmation for a place in a dormitory. To receive such a document, send the bank transfer confirmation of the reservation fee payment to the: erasmus@uj.edu.pl
